THE SANCTUM [TE.DUH] PLACE FOR RETREAT AND WORKSPACE A ‘sanctum’ is distinguished by its need to provide an escape from the everyday life for its residents. Typically occupied on a temporary or short-term basis, it can strategically amplify or suppress some of the conventions which would constrain the ordinary house. While the need for both public and private spaces are givens in architecture, these issues should be at the forefront of the design strategy for this ‘sanctum’.

THE SANCTUM SITE ANALYSIS Site analysis is a preliminary phase of architectural and urban design processes dedicated to the study of the climatic, geographical, historical, legal, and infrastructural context of a specific site. The result of this analytic process is a summary, usually a graphical sketch, which sets in relation the relevant environmental information with the morphology of the site in terms of parcel, topography, and built environment. This result is then used as a starting point for the development of environment-related strategies during the design process.                                                        SITE ANALYSIS BOARD                                                   ...

FLAT PACK BAG PACK A homeless, or a catastrophe/disaster victim Imagine that im have lost everything I’ve ever owned and have been thrown on the streets of Seremban. My priorities have changed, what was once about branded clothes and fancy restaurants have shifted to trying to survive everyday life. Priorities became simpler although not necessarily easy to achieve. The public has been known to be a public prosecutor, therefore, I are judged with a simple glimpse of the clothes I wear or the way im salvage my food out of pure hunger. What was once a soft, warm and quiet nights have drifted to a lonely, cold and endless fear of survival. My ‘ Flat Pack Bag Pack ’ would be one of your survival tools to survive the harsh environments in the streets of Georgetown. This peoject has been done in a group with 5 of members. LIST OF MEMBERS: KHAIRUL NIZAM BIN ZUHRY (144509) MUHD ARSYAD BIN SHAMSUDDIN (144515) KHAIRUL ANWAR BIN ASHAARI (144507) MUHAMMAD HAZIQ BIN AZRI (144518) ABDUL HAKI...

Full attention to the detailing, scales, shapes, forms, rhythms, hierarchy, harmony, repetitions, colours, materials, a method of construction/planning.
